Who We Are

National Healthcare Group Diagnostics (NHG Diagnostics) is a business unit of NHG Cares Services, a strategic business group of the National Healthcare Group.

Founded in 2000, we are a leading provider of one-stop imaging and laboratory services in primary healthcare in Singapore.

Traditionally, imaging and laboratory services were available mainly in hospitals only. We are here to bring these services to your neighbourhood or even your doorstep.

Our Leadership Team

Ms Lim Soh Har

Executive Director

Ms Lim Soh Har is the Executive Director of the National Healthcare Group Diagnostics (NHGD). She joined NHGD, a leading provider of imaging and laboratory services in primary healthcare, as its General Manager in 2011, and assumed her current positon as Executive Director in 2015.

As Executive Director, Ms Lim drives the transformation of diagnostics delivery to support partners in primary care and community, to care for their patients/clients from living well to leaving well. The collaborations span across public, private and people sectors.

Ms Lim has over 19 years of experience in healthcare administration and operations, in acute and primary healthcare settings. She has served in various public healthcare institutions including the National University Hospital (NUH), National Healthcare Group Headquarters (NHG HQ), Institute of Mental Health (IMH) and NHG Diagnostics (NHGD). Prior to rejoining healthcare in 2011, Ms Lim was the Head of Operations at the Singapore Botanic Gardens from 2007 to 2011.

Ms Lim received her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1989. She completed the MOH Health Manpower Development Program (HMDP) Scholarships in 2005 and 2015, at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania USA and at INSEAD Singapore respectively.

Dr Tyrone Goh is a Fellow of the United Kingdom College of Radiographers and the Australian Institute of Radiography.

He has a Master of Business Administration from Henley Management School, United Kingdom and a Doctor of Science (Hon) from the London South Bank University (LSBU). He is also a visiting fellow of LSBU and past president of the International Society of Radiographers.

With over 40 years of experience in healthcare, he has overseen various planning and operational aspects of hospital management, particularly in the areas of allied health and medical imaging.

Dr Goh's major projects included managing the National University Hospital's (NUH) Department of Diagnostic Imaging, providing a turnkey solution for NUH's $25 million Radiotherapy Centre, setting up the $4.5 million Shaw-NKF Children's Kidney Centre at NUH, as well as revamping the administrative support for the Cancer Institute, Emergency Department and Children's Medical Institute. ​

Associate Professor Wong Moh Sim graduated from the University of Leicester in UK and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (UK) in Chemical Pathology and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. She holds a Master of Health Science (Management) degree from the University of Sydney, Australia.

She currently serves on various committees, including the Singapore Association of Clinical Biochemists (SACB), Health Sciences Authority External Quality Assessment Programme in Clinical Chemistry, and the Ministry of Health National Quality Council.

Her clinical interest is diabetes mellitus and she runs clinic sessions at the Diabetes Centre.

Associate Professor Robert Hawkins has intensive experience in Chemistry since his appointments in New Zealand and Malaysia in 1993.

He received his MBChB from The University of Auckland in 1986, Postgraduate Diplomas in Health Management in 1996 and Health Informatics in 2004, Master in Information Science from the University of Otago in 2007 and Research MD from The University of Auckland in 2011.

In addition, he attended the fellowship of Royal College of Pathologist of Australasia (RCPA) in 1992 and Academy of Clinical Biochemistry (FACB) in 2000, and was elected to the Fellowship of the Faculty of Science of RCPA in 2012. He also served as President of the Singapore Society of Pathology and Vice-President of the Singapore Association of Clinical Biochemists.

He has published over 60 scientific articles and reviews, as well over 100 abstracts at various scientific meetings. His interest in pre-analytical quality, laboratory statistics and evidence-based laboratory contributes significantly to the field of laboratory medicine.

Adjunct Associate Professor Chong Bee Kiang received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from NUS, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in UK, and Fellow of the Academy of Medicine in Singapore.

She completed her HMDP fellowship in Breast Imaging at the University of California in San Francisco and Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, United States; and the HMDP administrator award under the Stanford-NUS Executive Program.

With over 25 years of experience in Radiology, she has specialised in Breast Imaging and Intervention with contributions in many presentations at various conferences as invited speaker and publications in local, regional and international journals.

Associate Professor Quek Swee Tian graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in 1995 before undergoing further training in the United Kingdom (UK).

His interest in medico-legal and professional matters has seen him appointed a member of the Singapore Medical Council’s Complaints and Disciplinary Committee, a Senior Advisor to the NUH Medical Board to assist in medico-legal issues, as well as a member of the Standing Committee on Continuing Professional Development, Academy of Medicine.

In education, he is a member of the Specialist Training Committee and Residency Advisory Committee for Diagnostic Radiology, an examiner in the MMed (Diag Rad) / FRCR examinations and an external examiner in the Indonesian National Board Examinations.

He has published on various topics in radiology and authored/co-authored a number of book chapters. He sits on the editorial board of several journals and has been invited to speak at numerous international conferences.
